We use Holt Traditions, Warriner's Handbook which reviews basic grammar, usage and mechanics as well as vocabulary and spelling. We also use the MODG Composition manual covers the various skills used in writing good essays, summaries, and papers. The Grammar & Comp Syllabus has a day-by-day breakdown of this course along with a variety of teaching resources including Ninth Grade Subject Rubrics, Learning Objectives, and grading charts. This is a 1 year, 1 credit course.
