These chant charts are meant to be a memorization and reference aid in your study of Latin. They are divided into two sets. The first set is built for the first years of Latin study. It includes the basic noun, verb, adjective, and pronoun paradigms that you will need to memorize. The second set is built for more advanced Latin students. It can aid with memorization but is more intended for easy reference. It includes information on case usage, the different subordinate clauses, and more advanced Latin concepts. Below is more information on each set and tips on how to use them.

Set 1:

The first set has all the verb conjugations and noun, adjective, and pronoun declensions. It also has charts showing you how to form adverbs, comparative and superlative adjectives and adverbs, and how to find the gender rules of nouns. There are charts of the irregular adjectives and adverbs, the prepositions with the cases they take, and the Roman numerals. Almost all of this information will need to be memorized within the first few years of studying Latin. You will want to use the charts in pieces, based on what your Latin course is teaching at the time. The charts are grouped based on concept, so all the verb tenses are together. But you will not learn all the verb tenses in the first year of learning Latin. You will want to find the conjugations and tenses that you have learned and study those.
